Solas Photography Club was formed in June 2017  by a small group of photography enthusiasts in Galway. We are located in Oranmore and the club meetings are held twice a month on the First and Third Wednesday. We have a relaxed and friendly environment where members with varying levels of photography experience from advanced to complete beginners can get together to learn, discuss and develop their photography.

We have a varied programme consisting of lectures by Special Guest speakers and club members, club competitions, workshops, practicals and occasional studio sessions. We also organise regular monthly club outings. Solas Photography Club is affiliated with the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF).
