Our August Outing was on  Sunday 27th August was held in  Merlin Woods. A photography walk led by Noel Barbour of the Friends of Merlin Woods in conjunction with natural Heritage Week called “NATURE THROUGH THE LENS”. The day started with Noel giving a short talk about Friends of Merlin Woods in their efforts to protect this area and the whole woodland so that we can retain all of the habitats within the Merlin Park Recreational and Amenity and what we might see and get to see in the Woods and Photograph in this wonderful place.
