Annual Competition
The Wild Altantic Way Annual competition will be PRINT ENTRIES ONLY with prints being judged on judging night by our Guest Judge.
Members can submit a max 2 MOUNTED PRINT IMAGES in either Colour or Black & White / Mono unless stated otherwise.

Photographer of the Year
(POTY) 24/2025
This Year’s P.O.T.Y . Competition will be over 3 Rounds with 2 themes in each round, DIGITAL ENTRIES ONLY with the 2 themes being judged on each judging night by Guest Judge. Members can submit a max 2 Images per theme in either Colour or Black & White / Mono unless stated otherwise.
This P.O.T.Y. will have 2 categories NON-ADVANCED & ADVANCED. Both categories will have photographer of the Year awards.

Collaborative Competition : Buddy Up ! "Dual Perspectives: A Seasonal Journey“
Duration: September 4th, 2024 – May 1st, 2025
Theme: Collaboratively capturing the essence of three of our club outing through a single, cohesive photo panel.
Competition Structure
1. Participants:Team Composition: Each team must consist of two members: with at least one
non-advanced photographer.
2. Panel Requirements: Each team will submit one photo panel comprising three photos.
3. Distribution: At least one photo in the panel must be taken by a non-advanced
photographer, but the overall quality and narrative should be cohesive and seamless.
4. Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted by May 1st to
solascompetitions@gmail.com.
5. Exhibition: Finalists’ Showcase: The photo panels will be displayed at the club’s AGM with
spot-prizes for the best panels
